Umbrella Alley is a colorful community art space in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf filled with murals, installations, and interactive photo spots. Your donation helps support new artwork, maintenance, repairs, and future creative projects that keep the alley vibrant, welcoming, and constantly evolving.
Umbrella Alley is back with a brand-new home in Fisherman’s Wharf! Located at 366 Jefferson Street, San Francisco, the newly reopened Umbrella Alley 2.0 already features seven vibrant murals by Bay Area artists, including California Dreaming, See the World, and I Left My Heart in San Francisco. More murals are in progress, with exciting new additions coming through 2026, such as the San Francisco Homies, Greetings from San Francisco, and Fisherman’s Wharf Honey Bear murals. Visitors can explore, snap photos, and watch the Alley evolve as artists continue to paint and build this one-of-a-kind creative space. The famous overhead umbrellas and balloons will return in late Summer 2026, bringing back the dreamlike color that made Umbrella Alley a city favorite. Check website for days and hours.
